At the press conference announcing the nationwide walking program \u201cTogether, Vietnam Moves Ahead\u201d on the afternoon of August 11, Mr. L\u00ea Qu\u1ed1c Minh \u2013 Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nh\u00e2n D\u00e2n Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, shared: \u201cTogether, Vietnam Moves Ahead\u201d is a community activity of unprecedented scale and significance, taking place at a pivotal moment when the country is entering a new phase of development alongside the restructuring of administrative units.\/p>\n

For the first time ever, a walking event will be held simultaneously across 34 provinces and cities, covering 3,321 communes, wards, and special administrative zones nationwide.\/p>\n

Notably, from 6:00 to 7:30 AM on August 16, 2025, participants across the country will proudly wear red shirts with a yellow star, all turning toward the historic Ba Dinh Square to witness the National Flag Raising Ceremony, sing the National Anthem together, and stride forward for a united, powerful, and sustainable Vietnam.\/p>\n

\u201cBeyond improving public health, the program also contributes to reducing CO\u2082 emissions and promoting a green lifestyle,\u201d Mr. L\u00ea Qu\u1ed1c Minh emphasized, expressing his belief that with the strong participation of the Ministry of Public Security, the scale of the event will far exceed initial expectations.\/p>\n
