On December 24, GELEX Group organized a training program on behavioral interviewing and cultural fit assessment, designed for managers and leaders across professional departments and functional units.\/em>\/strong>\/p>\n

The training was developed to help participants clearly understand the principles of evaluating candidates\u2019 behaviors and cultural alignment in accordance with GELEX standards. Participants were equipped with techniques for asking effective questions, probing deeper into information, and applying appropriate assessment methods to gather evidence of real behavioral experiences. In particular, the program focused on enabling managers to apply behavioral interviewing techniques to observe, record, and score candidates in an objective and consistent manner across the entire system.\/p>\n

Built around GELEX\u2019s three core cultural values – Integrity, Synergy, and Innovation, the program was structured into three logical modules, progressing from theoretical foundations to practical application. Participants were introduced to competency assessment methods, behavioral interviewing techniques based on the STAR model (S\/T \u2013 Situation\/Task, A \u2013 Action, R \u2013 Result), candidate profile analysis, knowledge assessment, and workplace behavior observation. These were combined with a set of behavioral interview questions specifically designed around each of GELEX\u2019s core values.\/p>\n

One of the program\u2019s highlights was the trainer\u2019s use of practical scenarios and case studies closely aligned with real recruitment situations within the enterprise. From cases involving candidates with strong technical expertise but limited collaboration skills, to those who demonstrate high creativity but lack consistency in honoring work commitments, participants were encouraged to share perspectives, engage in group discussions, and compare their assessments against the cultural behavior standards GELEX aims to build. This approach created an open, dynamic, and highly interactive learning environment.\/p>\n

Sharing her reflections after the program, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang – Deputy Head of the Accounting Division, Finance & Accounting Department, highly appreciated the systematic and practical nature of the training: \u201cIntegrating GELEX\u2019s core values and culture into each illustrative scenario helps participants not only learn interviewing techniques, but also clearly understand the behavioral standards the Group seeks to establish.
