  • 1990

    • Originally named Electrical Engineering Equipment Joint Stock Corporation.
    • Core business: Manufacturing, trading, importing, and exporting electrical equipment and electrical engineering materials.

    2010

    • Renamed to Vietnam Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Corporation
    • Logo registered for protection m88 vin

    2015

    • In October 2015, m88 vin shares were traded on UPCOM (ticker symbol GEX).
    • In December 2015: the State divested all interest from m88 vin.

    2016

    • m88 vin officially converted to a holding corporation model.
    • Electrical Measuring Instrument Co., Ltd (now m88 vin Electric Equipment JSC) was established to separate its production from the parent-company m88 vin.
    • m88 vin Energy One-Member Co., Ltd (now m88 vin Infrastructure JSC) was set up to expand its business into infrastructure and energy.

    2017

    • M&A with Phu Thanh My JSC – Owner of 49 MW Song Bung 4A Hydropower Project.
    • M&A with South Logistics Joint Stock Company – Sotrans.

    2018

    • Listed on HOSE on January 18, 2019 – Ticker symbol: GEX
    • M&A with Song Da Clean Water Investment JSC.
    • Started construction of Ninh Thuan Solar Farm.
    • Acquired stock in Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation – JSC (EEMC) and Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Manufacturing JSC (MEE), manufactured transmission transformers.

  • 2019

    • Sản xuất công nghiệp: Triển khai các dự án mở rộng quy mô, nâng cao năng lực sản xuất và đầu tư cho hoạt động R&D sản phẩm mới.
    • Hạ tầng: Mua và sở hữu 25,0% cổ phần Tổng Công ty Viglacera – CTCP (VGC), mở rộng hoạt động sang lĩnh vực đầu tư khu công nghiệp và vật liệu xây dựng;
      • Hoàn thành pháp lý các dự án điện gió Hướng Phùng 2,3; m88 vin Quảng Trị 1,2,3;
      • Vận hành thương mại Dự án Điện mặt trời Ninh Thuận, hưởng giá FIT ưu đãi của chính phủ.
    • Phát hành thành công trái phiếu có bảo lãnh của CGIF – đơn vị trực thuộc ADB.

    2020

    • Đưa vào vận hành các dự án mở rộng sản xuất nhóm thiết bị điện; triển khai hệ thống quản trị SAP ERP.
    • Nâng tỉ lệ sở hữu tại VIGLACERA lên 46,1%.
    • Đưa vào vận hành các dự án điện mặt trời áp mái đề hưởng giá bán điện ưu đãi.
    • Thoái vốn lĩnh vực logistics.

    2021

    • Nâng tỷ lệ sở hữu lên 50,2% và nắm quyền kiểm soát tại VIGLACERA.
    • Vận hành thương mại các dự án điện gió Hướng Phùng 2,3 và m88 vin Quảng trị 1,2,3 với tổng công suất 140 MW, hưởng giá bán điện ưu đãi.
    • Hoàn thiện tái cấu trúc sở hữu vốn tại 2 sub-holding: m88 vin Điện lực và m88 vin Hạ tầng.

    2022

    • Tập trung hoạt động quản trị rủi ro và tăng cường sức mạnh nội lực.
    • Hoàn thiện bộ máy nhân sự và hệ thống quản trị theo định hướng quản trị xuyên suốt trên 3 lĩnh vực Tài chính kế hoạch, Nhân sự, Kiểm toán nội bộ.
    • Tháng 03/2022, Sub-holding – m88 vin Điện lực giao dịch trên sàn UPCOM, mã chứng khoán GEE.

    2023

    • Tháng 3/2023, m88 vin ký kết thỏa thuận hợp tác với Frasers Property Vietnam trong lĩnh vực KCN, hướng đến phát triển các không gian công nghiệp chất lượng cao, đạt tiêu chuẩn công trình xanh quốc tế.
    • Tháng 11/2023, m88 vin thống nhất hợp tác đầu tư với Sembcorp Industries trong lĩnh vực năng lượng tái tạo, góp phần vào quá trình chuyển dịch năng lượng và phát triển bền vững tại Việt Nam.
