On August 21, Vietnam Report JSC officially announced the Top 30 Strategic Investment Groups in Vietnam 2025 (ALPHA30) for the first time, honoring corporations that not only deliver outstanding performance but also demonstrate the ability to build ecosystems, raise governance standards, and drive sustainable growth models for the economy.

The ALPHA30 methodology is built on three key pillars: investment and financial efficiency; governance and resilience; influence and leadership capacity. Developed with the consultation of both domestic and international experts, the framework ensures objectivity and depth in the ranking. As a result, the list not only highlights business performance but also identifies pioneering corporations that lead in scale, set new standards in governance, and shape sustainable growth models for Vietnam’s economy. These are enterprises capable of building a self-reliant value cycle, forming powerful financial, industrial alliances, achieving strategic integration, demonstrating extraordinary resilience, or mastering brand communication.

From a financial perspective, while the compound annual revenue growth rate (CAGR) of ALPHA30 members during 2020–2024 reached 11.6%, lower than the nominal GDP growth rate of 16.3%, this reflects a story of maturity and bold restructuring. Many corporations proactively divested from large-scale but low-margin sectors to focus on businesses with stronger and more sustainable growth potential.

The ALPHA30 list brings together leading names such as Vingroup, Viettel, SSI Securities, Mobile World Group, Sovico, trang vào m88, among others. According to Vietnam Report, beyond financial strength, ALPHA30 is also recognized through how corporations build and communicate their brand stories.
